The National Defence Fund was already started to take charge of voluntary donations in cash and kind received for support of national defense effort and to decide on their utilisation. The fund is used for the welfare of the members of the armed forces and their departments.The fund is totally dependent on voluntary donations from the public and does not get any budgetary support.
The fund accepts the online donations. Such contributions can be made trough the website i.e ndf.gov.in, pmindia.gov.in and www.onlinesbi.com website of state bank of india. Collection Account number is 11084239799 with state bank of india, institutional division, 4th floor, parliament street, New Delhi. The fund has been allotted a Permanent Account Number i.e nothing but PAN Number AAAGN0009F.

How to donate money to National Defence Fund
To donate money to National Defence Fund simply follow the below steps….
Step 1: Open the web browser and enter the official website of NDF www.ndf.gov.in
Step 2: Now click on ‘Donate online’ tab, which is top middle of the window. A new page will open.
Step 3: Fill all the details in all mandatory fields, and enter your contribution amount and enter security code.
Step 4: Accept terms and conditions and click on submit. A new window will open. It shows your review details, check it once and click on proceed next tab.
Step 5: Another window will open, click on proceed tab, now you have to pay the donation amount online.
Select your bank and enter your bank card details and pay your donation amount.
