Universal Account Number is a 12-digit number allotted to employee who is contributing to EPF. It is unique and it will be generated for each of the PF member by EPFO. How to Track EPF UAN Status online by using Universal Account Number
You can check the UAN status at the UAN members portal. Your 22 digit EPF member ID is required for EPF UAN status check. Following steps states that how you can check the EPFO UAN status.
- Click below link you will directed to UAN status page http://uanmembers.epfoservices.in/check_uan_status.php
- Select your state and EPFO office or region from the menu list.
- The first two boxes of PF account number will automatically filled.
- Now enter Establishment code, Extention code, and your PF account number.
- Click below link to search the Establishment code http://search.epfoservices.in/est_search.php
- Now click status button. you will get message whether the UAN is alloted or not.
If you get a message it is confirmed that your UAN is been allocated for your EPF member ID. Now you can provide details required right side on that page to get your number. You have to fill details in all mandatory fields.
Now click on GET PIN tab. you will get pin number to your mobile. enter it in the PIN field. Your request for UAN will be submitted, and it will be generated in next 7 days. you will get confirmation SMS.
How to Activate EPF UAN (Universal account Number)

After activation you will create login ID to check EPFO balance using UAN number. UAN enables you to use many online facilities at EPFO portal. To activate your UAN, you have to fill details in all mandotory fields. you will get pin number which you have to submit to activate UAN. once it is activated it is easy to check EPF claim status.
